| Daniel J. Ryterband Managing Director Frederic W. Cook & Co., Inc Daniel J. Ryterband is a Managing Director and head of the New York office of Frederic W. Cook & Co., where he consults to organizations on all aspects of executive compensation strategy and design including tax, accounting, securities law, and corporate governance issues. He specializes in the design of cash- and equity-based incentive plans, with a particular focus on compensation issues related to transformative events such as mergers, divestitures, IPOs, spin-offs, and other restructurings. He has 15 years of direct consulting experience and his clients include U.S. and overseas multinationals in a variety of industries, as well as smaller start-up organizations and private enterprises. Mr. Ryterband has extensive experience in working with Board Compensation Committees and generally attends or participates in 80 or more Committee and/or Board meetings annually. He is a frequent writer and speaker on emerging issues in the field. He has spoken at numerous conferences including those held by the Conference Board, the American Society of Corporate Secretaries, Northwestern Universitys Kellogg School, the Harvard Business School, WorldatWork, the Association of Executive Search Consultants, Financial Executives International, and other related trade and educational organizations. He is a member of the teaching faculty at WorldatWork, where he teaches courses on executive compensation to industry professionals. He is a graduate of Rutgers University (BS, economics and finance) and New York Universitys Leonard N. Stern School of Business (MBA, finance and management).
