Thomas A. Ramagnano is a consultant in the Talent & Organization consulting practice at Hewitt Associates LLC. He consults on a broad range of executive compensation matters, including mergers and acquisitions, short- and long-term incentives, executive pay levels, employment agreements, executive retirement and deferral programs, change in control, and severance. Prior to joining Hewitt, Tom worked for a global manufacturing company as Tax and General Counsel. His responsibilities covered a wide range of tax, legal, and corporate governance issues. Tom is the co-author of U.S. Companies Buying in Europe: HR Issues of EU Directives, published in the International HR Journal Fall 2000 issue. In addition, he co-authored a chapter titled “Executive Compensation Plans” in The Handbook of Employee Benefits, Fifth Edition.Tom holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University), a J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University.
