| Ann Costelloe Practice Leader Watson Wyatt Worldwide The Practice leader for Watson Wyatts San Francisco executive compensation practice, Ann works with clients and their boards aligning executive compensation programs with strategic business objectives, assessing the structure and competitiveness of executive total compensation programs, designing annual incentive and sales incentive plans, understanding the design impacts, financing and implementation of executive benefit plans, creating an effective total rewards philosophy and program as well as due diligence in merger and acquisition situations. She is a core member of the team that leads Watson Wyatts research and delivery on nonqualified executive benefits and serves on Watson Wyatts Total Rewards and Mergers and Acquisitions task forces. Ann has 15 years of consulting experience applying innovative problem solving and strategic planning techniques for clients in the financial services, retail, high-technology, not-for-profit, healthcare and manufacturing industries in the United States, Europe and Asia. Before joining Watson Wyatt in June 1997 Ann served as regional director of institutional pension services at Metropolitan Life. Prior to that she worked as a management consultant with Diablo Management Group, providing consulting services to financially troubled corporations. Ann also worked as a senior auditor and a controller on the options trading desk at Bear, Stearns & Company. Her career began in the financial services division of Arthur Andersen in New York. Ann earned a bachelors degree in accounting and business administration from the State University of New York at Albany. Ann is a frequent public speaker on executive compensation, total rewards, equity arrangements and executive benefits. She has also been quoted in major business and financial journals and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. |
